This is 1 of the best books about medicine I accept ever read! Information technology is written from a place of honour and respect, respect for patients, doctors, insurance companies, and those in the pharmaceutical field who sincerely want to help patients become well. Yes, there are some people who enter medicine or pharmaceuticals with the goal of getting rich or gaining power. I don't think those are the majority though. Nearly doctors take a range of motives for going into medicine including helping their patients This is one of the best books about medicine I have always read! It is written from a place of honor and respect, respect for patients, doctors, insurance companies, and those in the pharmaceutical field who sincerely want to help patients get well. Yes, in that location are some people who enter medicine or pharmaceuticals with the goal of getting rich or gaining ability. I don't recollect those are the majority though. Most doctors have a range of motives for going into medicine including helping their patients and making the world a improve identify. This volume is most what nosotros tin can do to restore trust between patients and doctors, betwixt doctors and patients, and between insurance companies and the people they serve. Halee Fischer-Wright uses experiences equally a medical doctor and a patient in writing this. It gives the reader an agreement of both sides . Equally patients most people exercise not call up well-nigh the other side. It is an enlightening read which is well worth your time.

This book had me hooked from the get-go. As a medical student, this volume has actually spoken to me, bringing nearly the ins and outs of the medical field from a unique perspective. What really makes this book great is Dr. Halee Fischer-Wright'southward opinion as a md speaking on the ups and downs in improver to her personal experiences as both a patient and practicing physician. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone in or going into the healthcare field. This book had me hooked from the outset. As a medical pupil, this book has really spoken to me, bringing most the ins and outs of the medical field from a unique perspective. What really makes this book neat is Dr. Halee Fischer-Wright'south stance equally a doctor speaking on the ups and downs in improver to her personal experiences as both a patient and practicing md. wouldn't say a great read..though throws some light on physician POV... if I inquire a payer or health arrangement executive...they would definitely have a different version of this! expected a more counterbalanced perceptive from Halee.. existence the head of MGMA...she had been saying the balance of art..science and business concern of medicine! would have loved..if she had given some insights on how..payers..patients and providers... maintain the balance in art..science...and business of medicine!!! wouldn't say a great read..though throws some calorie-free on medico POV... if I enquire a payer or health system executive...they would definitely have a dissimilar version of this! expected a more counterbalanced perceptive from Halee.. being the head of MGMA...she had been saying the residuum of art..science and concern of medicine! would have loved..if she had given some insights on how..payers..patients and providers... maintain the balance in fine art..scientific discipline...and business organisation of medicine!!! ...more

This was a very well written book,easily understood by the common lay person.The writer has some very good points on what is wrong with health care today.She had some practiced ideas on how to fix some of the bug,now simply to become the government and others to listen.It was nice to read this book and exist able to say,yes someone understands what nosotros as patients go through and she brought in some understanding of besides what medical workers get through.
